THREAD OF CREATIVITY - Fashion Design Competition 2025

The 5th edition of the Thread of Creativity - Fashion Design Competition 2025 Grand Final, jointly organised by the Sham Shui Po District Youth Development and Civic Education Committee and the Asian New Generation Creativity Design Association, was successfully held at CENTRESTAGE in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event adopted the theme "Originality・Activity・Vibrancy” , drawing inspiration from sports to explore the perfect fusion of fashion and athleticism. The 12 finalists, under the guidance of star mentors, meticulously crafted their design concepts into their entries.

 

The event was honored to have Ms. Alice Mak Mei-Kuen, SBS, JP Secretary for Home Affairs and Youth Affairs; Mr. Oscar Wong Ho-Yu, JP, District Officer of Sham Shui Po and Chairman of the Sham Shui Po District Council; Mr. Ho Kwok-Ching, Founding Chairman of the Asian New Generation Creativity Design Association; Mr. Kenneth Leung Yuk-Wai, MH, JP, Vice Chairman of the Commission on Youth Development; Dr. Mickey Yan Wai-Kiu, MH, JP, Chairman of the Sham Shui Po District Youth Development and Civic Education Committee; and Mr. Kenneth Chiu Si-Kam, Hong Kong Professional Baseball Player, present the awards!

 

The event was jointly organised by the Sham Shui Po District Youth Development and Civic Education Committee and the Asian Youth Creative Design Association, co-organised by the Sham Shui Po District Office, and sponsored by the Home Affairs Department.
