LOCAL POWER 2025 Launch Event

Mr. Ho Kwok-Ching, Creative Director of CDA HUB and curator of LOCAL POWER 2025, led Hong Kong designers in launching this fashion extravaganza. LOCAL POWER 2025 perfectly blends the cultural essence of Hong Kong and South Korea with contemporary fashion creativity, showcasing 35 fashion works by designers from the Greater Bay Area and South Korea! From “Amazing Cut 1," "Fashion Summit (Hong Kong) 2024," and "The Young Knitwear Designers’ Contest 2024" to "NEXT@Fashion InStyle 2025," as well as the stunning creations of emerging South Korean designers, this cross-regional collaboration not only builds a bridge for creative exchange among emerging designers but also highlights Hong Kong's charm as an international fashion capital, opening a new chapter for the fashion industries of Hong Kong and South Korea!

 

Mr. Raistlin Lau-Chun, JP, Under Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Sunny Tan, Legislative Councillor, Ms. AU Yuk-Fong, Alice, Assistant Director (Cultural Development), Leisure and Cultural Services Department, and Ms. Bonnie Koo, Assistant Executive Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, were present to show their support. The appearance of the final guests, including well-known artist Matthew Ho, former Miss Hong Kong winner Hilary Chong, well-known artist Cathy Wong, and rising male singer Hugo Wong, added star power to the event.
