1881 Heritage Fashion Show in Tsim Sha Tsui

Mr. Dorian Ho, founder of this platform, led five former designers from the “THREAD OF CREATIVITY - Fashion Design Competition” in presenting a fashion show themed “Inheritance” at 1881 Heritage in Tsim Sha Tsui. Together, they interpreted and celebrated Hong Kong’s history, culture, and art.

 

In addition to the designers’ works inspired by elements such as lion dance, bamboo scaffolding, Cantonese opera, fishing villages, and fish markets, the event also featured various Hong Kong street food stalls on site, offering guests classic local delicacies including silk-stocking milk tea, egg waffles, dragon’s beard candy, and grid-patterned biscuits.

 

The fashion performance brought together tradition and modernity, showcasing Hong Kong’s rich cultural heritage through innovative designs while immersing guests in an authentic sensory experience of the city’s iconic street food culture.
